Residential Habilitation
Support
Promoting Independence
At Comfort Care Community Services, we are dedicated to supporting the rights of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We aspire to help them co-exist in a residential setting as value-adding community members. We do this by providing them with proper physical care and training beyond supervision and general care services.
Our residential habilitation support services are focused to:
- Increasing independence of disabled people with activities of daily living such as dressing, eating, getting out of the chair, or bed, taking a shower, and using the toilet.
- Developing communication, leisure, and social recreational skills
- Enhance independent living and ability to make choices
At CCCS, our goal is to improve the quality of life of disabled individuals so that they can get through the day smoothly and with a smile despite developmental or physical limitations. We empower people with disabilities to live more independent and fuller lives – the lives they truly deserve.

Daily Life Tasks
We work with your family member with a disability to master daily life tasks that can be otherwise complicated for them with disabilities. However, this takes time, patience, and repetition. The tasks that are our primary focus include:
- Cooking easy meals
- Doing laundry
- Using the toilet and taking a shower
- Going to the bank, among others
- Managing money
- Brushing teeth
- Shopping for groceries and other personal items
- Commuting safely
We are committed to assisting people in building skills to cope with the daily routine because these activities promote and encourage independence. We help you live your life on your terms and efficiently deal with a new disability sustained recently.
Social Skill Building
Social engagement and making friends for people with disabilities are challenging. Therefore, under our residential hab support services, we help them learn and understand how to manage social interactions. Activities like role-playing and practicing help immensely, allowing people with disabilities to feel safe and more confident in their skin.
Personalized
Approach
At Comfort Care Community Services, we follow a personalized approach. We don’t believe in cookie-cutter services. We believe that everyone is different so are their needs and challenges. So, discuss your needs with our team, and we’ll create a personalized support program for teaching and developing the skills you need to cope with everyday life challenges confidently and easily.
We believe that your disability should never be your weakness. Instead, you should learn to live with it and become the best version of your life despite the odds.
